This privacy policy applies to visitor information and the use of www.cleanmyspace.ca (herein referred to as 'the website'), as well as information collected from active clients only which is stored in our office either in physical form which is kept in a secure filing cabinet or on a password protected computer. Clean My Space is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of the websites to which we provide links to or any companies we refer clients to.
1. Information Collection
Clean My Space is the sole owner of the information collected on the website and through discussion with clients. Our policy does not allow us to share, sell, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Clean My Space collects information from our users in the Contact Us section of the website. All fields requesting personal information are present so that we can respond to your inquiry in an efficient manner, and provide you with accurate information about our services. We request only pertinent information from visitors to the website and clients.
2. Security
We take every precaution to protect our clients' personal information. When users submit personal information via the website, the information is protected both online and offline.
All of our clients' information, not only the personal information mentioned above, is restricted in our office. Any information we collect over the phone is entered into our computer system, and paper notes are shredded. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to identifiable information. Seeing that the Home Maintenance Managers require your name, address, and suite number to carry out their work, they are provided with a file containing limited personal information as well as information about your home and preferences. We have done rigorous screening of our employees and trust they will treat your information with the utmost respect. Moreover, we only provide employees with the minimum required information. Our office employees must use password-protected computers. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

3. Cookies
Currently we do not use cookies on our website. We can access traffic information; however it does not include any IP addresses or any information providing identification of site visitors.
4. Sharing
We will provide your information to another company for the purpose of referral, only after we get permission from our clients to do so (i.e. home organization, laundry service, carpet cleaning). The other time we may share information is if it is aggregated demographic information which we provide to our service partners and other clients. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
From time to time, new clients may ask for references. We will not provide anyone with your information unless we ask you first in writing or via telephone. At that point, you can choose to provide a reference or not, and you can choose the method of communication that best suits your comfort level.
We may ask for a testimonial and place it on the website or in literature. Again, you will have to provide us with permission to do so before we may use it, and we will request this from you before going any further with the testimonial. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
5. Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on the website so that clients are aware of how we use information and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
