Since we began in 2006, Clean My Space is renowned as a successful cleaning company that focuses on the urban condo market and caters to the lifestyle of professionals, executives, and retirees. We service hundreds of clients a month (and have cleaned over one million square feet of condos) with our unique services. Clients need everything from special cleaning solutions for unique finishes and fixtures, exceptionally detailed and high-quality cleaning, and the completion of some ‘unique' projects. Recently, Suite Services has been added to Clean My Space's offerings, which provides hotel-style service to condos (excellent for pied-a-terres, short term rentals and busy executives). We are all too happy to demonstrate a technique to you, teach you about how to care for your condo when we are not around, or suggest a product for your needs.

To enlighten the crowds, I have dedicated myself to providing those who are interested with as many tips and tricks as possible to simplify the job, reduce elbow grease and get amazing results. In fact, CMS (and I) have been featured in a variety of media to discuss the fascinating world of cleaning, it's not as boring as you would think!

So who started this up?
I did! I'm Melissa Maker and I started by doing the cleanings myself. Shortly after, I started hiring to handle the capacity. Myself and my team of amazing staff have mopped, sprayed and scrubbed our way to success and are literally sweeping our way across Toronto!

I'm a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University and finished with specializations in entrepreneurial studies and international business. In 2006 I took a bold leap of faith and left my job as a commercial banker to pursue my lifelong dreams of being an entrepreneur. Although not sure of which business to endeavor in at the time of my departure, I always remained attuned to the opportunities surrounding me. I spoke with a ton of people who we all too kind in offering assistance and encouragement. Finally I chose a cleaning business which targets Toronto busybodies who live in condos. I started Clean My Space at the young age of 24, a company where I could finally inject my brand of integrity, quality, and passion.

Since inception, I have spent my time researching products, testing techniques, writing articles, educating clients, running her business, and of course, cleaning. As a result, Clean My Space has experienced incredible growth since we began as clients and the media continue to tout the importance of working with a dedicated, reliable, top-quality cleaning service. I take the time to practice techniques at home as well as provide Clean My Space employees with hands on training to ensure the importance of cleaning in the most efficient and effective way possible.

I grew up in a home where we was encouraged to conserve, recycle, and consider the environment. I have taken this sentiment and applied it to Clean My Space by teaching our staff, clients, and anyone who cares to listen about the importance of eco-friendly cleaning, how to create home made and healthy cleaning products, and amazing eco-friendly cleaning tips (it's amazing how cleaning a shower now comes up at dinner parties)!

These two roommates are frat boys at heart and have been living together since their university days (when they couldn't afford cleaning). Their suite is adorned with beer paraphernalia, a huge flat screen television and a truckload of gadgets, computer equipment and video games.

They call a condo at Simcoe and Queen's Quay home, but spend most of their time at their Bay Street jobs. Admittedly, they have no time or know-how for cleaning. We did a much needed initial cleaning for them and have continued to visit them on a biweekly basis. We have to take great care when cleaning around their electronics and expensive toys, but we always come through.

These two use our dry cleaning services as well – they love the free pick up and delivery. We make their home look great, now if only they could keep it that way!
